How it works

Search the map, compare options, then book or organise a hit.

Court Scouter combines court discovery, player discovery, and session planning tools so tennis players can move from “where can I play?” to “who can I play with?” faster.

1. Choose when you want to play

Start with the court finder, choose a date, and browse court options that match the available information for that day. Where time-based booking data is available, Court Scouter groups the options so players can compare start times and venues more easily.

2. Use the map to understand location

The map is designed for practical decisions. Instead of reading a long list first, players can see where venues are, inspect nearby options, and focus on courts that are realistic for their travel distance.

3. Check the booking source

Court Scouter may show booking links, venue links, public court notes, or call-to-book information. A booking is not made on Court Scouter. Players should confirm availability, pricing, venue rules, and booking conditions directly with the relevant provider.

How availability is collected

Court Scouter collects availability and venue information from publicly accessible venue websites and booking-provider information. Because Sydney venues use different systems, they are checked in scheduled groups rather than all at exactly the same moment.

A successful collection replaces the previously stored information for the relevant venue. Other venues keep their latest successfully collected information until their own next successful update.

What “Refreshed” means

The Refreshed time on the court finder shows when the latest successfully published dataset became available to Court Scouter users. It does not mean that every venue was checked at that exact minute, and it is not a booking confirmation.

Collection groups complete at different times, and a venue may temporarily retain older information if its source is unavailable or a collection attempt fails. Availability can also change after Court Scouter has collected it.

Prices and venue details

Displayed prices are indicative public prices observed during collection. Final prices may differ by time, day, membership, lighting, court type, booking length, fees, promotions, or provider conditions. Court surfaces, opening arrangements, access rules, and other venue details can also change.

Independence, corrections, and contact

Court Scouter is an independent discovery service. It is not affiliated with the venues or booking providers shown, does not process court bookings, and cannot reserve or guarantee a displayed time. Always confirm the final availability, price, and conditions with the official venue or booking provider before paying or travelling.

If you notice outdated or incorrect information, use the site feedback tool or email courtscouter@gmail.com so it can be reviewed.

4. Find players and sessions

On the players page, users can discover nearby players, create sessions, join sessions, invite suitable players, and coordinate a hit. Sessions can be linked to a real venue or anchored to a suburb when a host is still deciding where to play.
